Coronavirus, Us, and You: So...What Now?

Now is the BEST time to send new music to radio.

How can I type that in the face of a pandemic?

Well, we’re all at home, we’re working remotely, we’re Netflix and chilling, we’re watching the news, we’re spending time with family, and we’re LISTENING TO MUSIC ON THE RADIO BECAUSE WE’RE CRAVING CONNECTION.

Radio knows it has a golden opportunity to connect with its audience, and they’re doing it, especially the ones who are live and local.

New songs are still getting added to playlists every week.

Radio stations are still taking calls to talk music with my team and me.

Radio stations are also open to doing “virtual” station visits using tools like FaceTime, Skype, and Zoom.

Artists can still play “virtual” gigs for their fans through established websites like Patreon. You can even sell merch too.

Fans are still streaming music, and in the case of radio, they’re playing the music and pairing it with life-saving local, state, and national information too.

I’m willing to lay a bet that defiant, life-affirming, fist-pumping, hook-filled music is more than welcome now.

Heartfelt, kind, beautiful, open, and honest music is more than welcome now.

We’re happy to help you get there.

Reach out to me anytime at larry@ninenorthmail.com. I’m happy to offer whatever advice I can.

Never react out of fear or scarcity. Go boldly and be rewarded.

We’ll be there by your side when you’re ready.

All my best always, Larry.

PS: please wash your hands, stay safe, stay home (if you can), and use this time to get creative. After all, Shakespeare wrote 'King Lear' during one of the worst plagues in history.

I can't wait to hear what you create!
